House of Coates

I gave my house its own Twitter account, connecting devices and sensors to explore what a home might tell us about its everyday life and the things happening inside.

Chris Martin’s illustration of a connected house at night, showing its rooms, sensors and appliances.

The above image is from an article in Wired magazine about smart homes that featured House of Coates. It's by Chris Martin. You can find more of his work here. I loved it so much when I saw it, I found his e-mail address and got a print of it, which is on display in my hall. Thanks again Chris for beautiful work.
